Hi, I'm Harry.

I'm a graphic designer based in Vietnam.
I specialise in art direction and visual identity development, combining them with business strategy in order to solve design problems and further improve customer experience.

3D Work

In addition to graphic design, I explore visual storytelling through short 3D animations and renders. This distinct body of work can be viewed in my separate 3D portfolio, accessible via the link below:

Helios

Client: Helios
Software used: Adobe Illustrator, Blender

For Helios, a photographic lighting equipment company, I was tasked with designing its identity package, various marketing materials, and packaging mockups for its products.

Helios’ logo was inspired by Xenon tubes and flash heads usually found in modern photographic speedlights. The final design included a logo mark resembling a rectangular flash head and a custom sans-serif typeface for the wordmark.

Helios Print Ads

Client: Helios
Software used: Adobe Photoshop, Blender

Lighting naturally takes centre stage for Helios, a company specialising in photographic lighting equipment. Based on the core principle of photography – “painting with lights” – the print ads employed dramatic light and shadow alongside intense, energetic colours. This concept was chosen for its strong resonance with photographers.

Maika's Tet

Client: Maika JSC
Project type: In-house
Software used: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Blender

In anticipation of Lunar New Year, Maika’s marketing department commissioned a collection of images intended to celebrate the holiday in Maika’s unique visual style while also promoting their products, namely ceramic and porcelain tiles. The core concept utilises Maika’s mosaic tiles and simple pencil strokes to depict Vietnamese foods and traditions commonly seen during Lunar New Year. Due to a very tight deadline, we opted to create the collection digitally; this involved digitising products into 3D assets and recreating the surface effect of the mosaic tiles.

To represent Vietnam's rich culture, four iconic foods and traditions were selected for each region (North, Central, and South), with an additional four chosen to showcase the most recognisable aspects of Lunar New Year in Vietnam. Each region is colour-coded based on its geographical and historical characteristics:

  • Red: Represents the blood, the heroic sacrifice of the soldiers who fought to unite Vietnam.

  • Blue: Represents the beautiful sea that has turned the Central region into a popular tourist destination.

  • Green: Represents the economic growth of the Southern region.

  • Yellow: Represents the prosperity, the soul of the nation.

Tom Clancy's
Ghost Recon Wildlands

Client: Ubisoft
Software used: Adobe Photoshop

This project reimagines Ubisoft’s action video game Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands as an action movie. The three posters were designed using in-game and custom assets, showcasing the titular Ghost team facing the Santa Blanca Cartel in a fictional version of Bolivia. The high-contrast, duotone colour style was chosen to create an intense and gritty feeling for the posters.

The Gioi Game Magazine

Client: PC World Vietnam
Software used: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator

This redesign of the now-defunct PC World Vietnam’s gaming-focused magazine utilises a more modern approach to its content and overall aesthetic while maintaining the spirit of the original publication.
